MANGROCS is an organization that groups together members and former members of the Army National Guard who have been subjected to racism and discrimination by Maryland Army National Guard.

This site is our effort to lay out the wrongdoings of Maryland Army National Guard and by calling on lawmakers or our government to investigate the systemic issue of racism and discrimination cultivated by this institution. This site is also our call for Justice by providing redress to the victims and by being a voice for profound change in this institution.

Before you take the time to read our stories, I would like to let you know why it is fair to label Maryland Army National Guard OCS as a racist organization. Being a racist organization does not mean that everyone or the majority of people in the organization are involved in unfair racial discrimination and mistreatment. It means that the Organization does not take necessary steps to address complaints of racism, or the mechanism put in place is just a façade but does not address the issue and provide real protection for people who are at risk of being discriminated against. Often these organizations will ignore the complaints or make considerate effort to cover up what happened while looking for other ways to penalize the victim who dare speak out.
